The Red Cross operates an around-the-clock, around-the-world emergency communication network for the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. A message sent by the Red Cross Services to Armed Forces (SAF) assists military families in times of crisis, provides services including health and welfare inquiries, news of a birth or death, emergency financial assistance, correction of records, information, referral and advocacy.
